Main Engine Safety Device Installation – TB Kevin

Pekerjaan instalasi panel safety device ini dilaksanakan pada kapal TB Kevin sebagai bagian dari peningkatan sistem proteksi dan keselamatan pada sistem Main Engine (M/E). Instalasi perangkat keselamatan ini bertujuan untuk memastikan bahwa sistem proteksi mesin utama dapat berfungsi secara optimal dalam mendeteksi kondisi abnormal yang berpotensi membahayakan operasional mesin.

Panel safety device berfungsi sebagai sistem monitoring dan proteksi yang terintegrasi dengan berbagai sensor pada mesin utama, sehingga mampu memberikan alarm maupun melakukan tindakan proteksi apabila terjadi kondisi seperti tekanan pelumas rendah, temperatur berlebih, atau parameter operasi lainnya yang berada di luar batas aman.

Scope of Work

• Instalasi panel safety device pada sistem Main Engine
• Integrasi sistem proteksi dengan sensor dan perangkat monitoring mesin
• Instalasi kabel kontrol dan terminasi pada panel proteksi
• Penyesuaian wiring pada sistem kontrol mesin eksisting
• Pemeriksaan instalasi dan pengujian fungsi sistem proteksi

Pelaksanaan pekerjaan dilakukan dengan melakukan integrasi antara panel safety device dengan sistem kontrol mesin yang telah ada sebelumnya. Proses instalasi dan wiring dilakukan dengan memperhatikan standar instalasi kelistrikan kapal serta prosedur keselamatan kerja yang berlaku.

Dengan terpasangnya sistem safety device ini, sistem proteksi pada Main Engine diharapkan dapat memberikan tingkat keamanan yang lebih baik dalam pengoperasian mesin serta membantu mencegah potensi kerusakan akibat kondisi operasi yang tidak normal.

Melalui instalasi sistem proteksi mesin yang terintegrasi, kami memastikan pengoperasian Main Engine kapal dapat berlangsung dengan lebih aman, andal, dan terkendali.

Main Engine Safety Device Installation – TB Kevin

This project involved the installation of a Main Engine safety device system onboard TB Kevin to enhance the protection and operational safety of the vessel’s main engine. The installation was carried out to ensure that the engine protection system can effectively detect abnormal operating conditions that may affect engine performance and safety.

The safety device panel functions as a monitoring and protection system integrated with various sensors installed on the main engine. It provides alarm signals and protection responses when abnormal conditions occur, such as low lubrication pressure, high temperature, or other operational parameters exceeding safe limits.

SCOPE OF WORK

• Main Engine safety device panel installation
• Integration of protection system with engine monitoring sensors
• Control cable installation and termination
• Modification and adjustment of existing engine control wiring
• Inspection and functional testing of the protection system

The installation process involved integrating the safety device panel with the existing engine control system. All wiring and installation activities were performed in accordance with marine electrical installation standards and safety procedures.

With the implementation of this safety device system, the main engine protection capability is improved, helping to prevent potential damage caused by abnormal operating conditions and ensuring safer vessel operation.
