Test Function / Calibration ACB

Pekerjaan Test Function dan Calibration Air Circuit Breaker (ACB) dilaksanakan sebagai bagian dari upaya memastikan keandalan sistem proteksi kelistrikan pada panel Main Switchboard (MSB). Pengujian ini bertujuan untuk memverifikasi bahwa perangkat proteksi mampu bekerja dengan baik dalam mendeteksi dan merespon gangguan arus lebih (overcurrent) maupun gangguan hubung singkat (short circuit).

Dalam proyek ini dilakukan pengujian terhadap beberapa unit Air Circuit Breaker (ACB) Hyundai, yaitu ACB Hyundai tipe HAT123 sebanyak 3 unit dan ACB Hyundai tipe HAT06 sebanyak 1 unit. Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan peralatan uji khusus untuk mensimulasikan kondisi gangguan arus pada sistem kelistrikan sehingga karakteristik proteksi dari setiap ACB dapat diverifikasi sesuai dengan setting dan standar operasional yang berlaku.

Pelaksanaan pekerjaan dilakukan secara sistematis dengan memperhatikan standar keselamatan kerja dan prosedur pengujian peralatan listrik. Tahapan pekerjaan dimulai dari persiapan peralatan uji serta koordinasi dengan tim operasional di lokasi untuk memastikan sistem dalam kondisi aman sebelum proses pengujian dilakukan.

Melalui proses injection test, simulasi gangguan arus dilakukan untuk memverifikasi respon proteksi ACB terhadap parameter long time, short time, dan instantaneous trip. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh unit ACB mampu bekerja sesuai karakteristik proteksi yang ditetapkan, sehingga meningkatkan keandalan sistem distribusi listrik pada Main Switchboard (MSB).

ACB Test Function & Protection Verification – Main Switchboard

The Test Function and Calibration of Air Circuit Breakers (ACB) were carried out to ensure the reliability of electrical protection systems installed in the Main Switchboard (MSB). This activity aimed to verify that the protection devices are capable of detecting and responding properly to overcurrent and short circuit conditions within the electrical distribution system.

The project involved testing several Hyundai Air Circuit Breaker units, consisting of three units of Hyundai HAT123 and one unit of Hyundai HAT06. Specialized testing equipment was utilized to simulate fault current conditions, allowing verification of the protection characteristics and tripping response according to the defined operational settings.

The execution process was performed systematically with strict adherence to electrical testing procedures and safety standards. Preparation activities included equipment setup and coordination with site operational personnel to ensure safe testing conditions prior to the injection process.

Through the injection test procedure, simulated fault currents were introduced to verify the tripping response of the ACB units under long time, short time, and instantaneous protection parameters. The results confirmed that all tested ACB units operated according to their designed protection characteristics, contributing to improved reliability of the electrical distribution system within the Main Switchboard.
